Wheel Wear

Post by Ozrail »

Hey everyone it's good to be back,

So anyway I ran into someone at a train show who was displaying T-gauge.
After the show he contacted me about something I never noticed with my trains.

On his Geared T gauge wheels, the silver coating was turning a copper colour.
All the other wheels are ok, but it's just the geared ones for some reason.
Has anyone else experienced this?

I think Alan is the one to comment on this one...but it may not be until he's back home from this weekend's show.
