Graham

You really need to start using the search feature on the forum....

I cable operated the points on Robins Run. Take a look at the thread in the Layouts section for some photos. If you want to copy the idea, I may be able to dig out the 3D print files and do some printing, etc..

Hi Doug
I have seen your point wire controls for turnouts and wondered if you can place the printed 3D parts in the Talking T Gauge Shop as I want to but some so that I can get my layout underway(if possible).

Kind Regards
Graham

In response to an enquiry about the powered points, according to the TGauge.com facebook page, they might be available in around 6 weeks.

I had to scrap my first layout attempt including points but in the hope of rescuing something managed to motorise one with a Seep motor. It's a bit fierce and I'm unsure the Eishindo ones could cope for long. Meant cutting away a little of the base and drilling a hole in the tiebar.

Hi there,

Jumping on this train, I wonder if anyone can tell me what exact material Eishido uses for the rails. Or is this their well-kept secret... :) I made some point-building exercise here with spring steel, but it seems not to give the requires magnetic adhesion. Does anyone have a hint?

Cheers

Thanks. Yes, I have seen this. Still, it is not what I search for.
