Low Moor Layout
Low Moor Layout
Just to let everybody know that I have started working on the New Low Moor railway station in the Bradford area.
Please check out my first go on a layout so far.
Still lots to do but at least the 1m flexi tracks are in place.
Are now working on getting some more town houses and filling the area as it is lacking in buildings.
I also have to scratch build my own Lift towers and bridge and now working on the steps to connect the car park to the station via foot ways.
If anyone needs more information please post on and i will let you know in due time.
Now on with scratch building some more warehouses and work buildings.
I will post on pictures of how i am getting on as well.
regards
Graham.
Re: Low Moor Layout
Hi Graham....and welcome to the forum.
What a nice looking layout so far....
Just a note.....your images will display in the thread if you resize them so their no bigger than 1000px wide by 1200px deep. The ideal size is 850px wide.

thank you for that.
I am trying to build in T gage first time for everything.
Also if can get more detail i will be starting a Leeds Station Layout, just getting all the track worked out as points are different to standard gauges for will have to modify and use less points to construct.
ps thanks for the tip for getting pics into display.

Graham

Re: Low Moor Layout
Hi guys and Girls
Just a quick up date on the Low Moor Station.
I have just brought some more houses from the Talking T gauge sire from Doug to finish off the buildings.
Got some more pictures for posting as well.
I may be doing the Bradford Interchange along with this layout as I have already got most of the dimensions worked out but still require some scratch built buildings to be done so may take a while yet on that.
Low Moor Station is getting better now as I have got some scatter glued on the base and so it starting to come to life but is taking time.
Will now need to start on making trees in T Gauge so that this will come to life even more.
Will also need more vehicles as it looks rather bare at the moment, but I have done the road painting markings on it.
Will keep you all posted on the final thing once I have got all the elements on it.
ps The track is two 1 metre lenghts to give you some sort of reference.
regards
Graham

Re: Low Moor Layout
Hi Gang
Just updating the forum on Low Moor Station .
I have been placing trees on this layout to give more life like viewing.(just cannot believe how many you have to place on to make it look goos).
Scratch building some warehouses and part of the chemical building works and gas works sections to make it more real.
Still need more cars and people to place on now.
Please see photos

Re: Low Moor Layout
Hi T Gauge people
I have now re done the track from scratch as when I rang it at the show is was a bit wobbly when srewed down to the bed(frst time track laying).
I have now completed the track laying work again ( double sided tape then track with srews nails every so often as this will keep the track now flat and flushed to the bedding level.
will keep you all posted once the track work have been repainted as this wil;l take time like before.
Got new vinyls for up grading the HST sets so will show them off once I have have had chance to change them all.
sorry no pics this time but will post new ones once all of above is done ,that is if I can wait that long.
Regards
