A Conrail (patched) GP40

Post by jesse6669 »

A work in progress... this is one of my GP40's (on Shapeways) and decals can be found at CMR Products (you need to special request they resize for T-scale, but they can do the decals in their catalog). Yes it needs trucks (bogies for the non-Yanks) and I'm working on that, at least some free-rolling Blombergs. Note this is a dummy unit since the hood is prototype width so it would have to be pushed by a (powered) boxcar.

Looks good. A simple colour scheme is easier in this scale!
Cheers,

Great job on your GP40 design. I am looking forward to seeing the completed model.

Thanks for the information on the decals.

Joe.
