Conway and the Bridges
Re: Conway and the Bridges
I thinj that i printed it at 1.700 to smaller as it turned out at 210mm in lenght when in fact it should have been 275mm.
Already drawn where the windows are so that my mini drill can cut out and then paint evan though it was smaller than i have expected.
anyway will have to re print.

Re: Conway and the Bridges
HI All T guage fans
Just re did the Conway Castle in right gauge now
Please take a look.
ps got more inner detail on it now rather than seperate modeling for it.
will keep you in formed.
Just now need to glue both together to make one model and then paint it.

Thank you for your comment it means a lot if I am doing ok or not, but thats modeling for you.

Re: Conway and the Bridges
Great stuff Graham, looks terrific. Will you fill it with tourists, Charlie's investiture or damsels in distress (or even railway enthusiasts taking pics of the track below)?
Re: Conway and the Bridges
Wrong castle, I'm afraid!
Charlie was "done" in Caernarfon.
With over 600 castles to choose from, I know it can be confusing to remember which Welsh castle is which! And seeing as Charlie's do was just under 49 years ago...and his acne had only just cleared up, I think we can let you off.....

Re: Conway and the Bridges
Thanks Doug. Just a converted colonial (not convict). Should have remembered as I was in Caernarfon last year. So, damsels in distress it is?
Re: Conway and the Bridges
Hi, I would like to know how your Conwy model has progressed? It looked very good and for 18 years, the view from my house was of the castle and bridges.
Have you made the files available? I would like to include them in a future layout.
Thank you
Tony

Re: Conway and the Bridges
Hi Graham,
My first test print of Conwy, a bit small, 16.7 x 37.4 x 33.3 and some fine tuning, but I only got the printer today
Can I ask you the size of your model?

Re: Conway and the Bridges
Hi Tony
Looking well for your first print
Please check out all pics.
Each square is 10meters so this will reduce to our scale to around 10mm in riduction ,just check as it has been sometime that I had to rework out scales.
Tower 35mm high/ 40mm wide/ 10mm at bottom lenght
Bridge lenght 130mm.
Tube squares shoul have the top seperate for those trains which may get trapped do keep tops loose.
Regards
