Here's the place for discussions about those 3D creations for Tguage...and lets not forget the trials and tribulations of designing and printing.

Bridge Extention

Post by gbtrains »

HI T Gauge people

Hope you are all well and keeping safe.

I will be starting a 1200mm by 400mm extention for a couple of layouts to be joined in between and so I have decided this should a double bridge over a deep river which then I can place boats and ships on.

PS This will be a double track so that you can run two trains at the same time accorss the bridge.

Bridge total lenght will be 900mm in lenght.

Please pics for design of project. :D

With Thanks
Graham

Update to Bridge

I am now prined the second part to the span and will start construction on this once I get my 1200mm by 400mm Laser cut board.
Pritning each span takes around 14 hours.
Now built on 3D model of both end gables which the bridge will tie to the ends.

see pic for details :D

Graham

Hi Tgauge people

Just to up date you all.

Bridge had to be re made to a difeerent configuration for the top castle parts as when made I forgot to total add up the height dimensions of 3mm thickness of track stabulizers so that it would be srourdy eniough when taken on exhibitions.

So now please check below for current under takings of bridge re done plus now getting some cliffs in clay doen on both sides.

Now to work on the water height and what to use, mmmm , I will think on that one then, any tips could be gretful before I proceed with that one. :o

Next to get flat base running from sides of cliff spanning to the bridge, lets hope this time it will go ok for me. :D

Take care and safe and keep on T-gauging
