Smoking QTT/T Gauge steam locomotive

Post by MMBUFBerlin »

It will be my last QTT project, after that there will be no increase!
After several unsatisfactory experiments with resistors and semiconductors, I have now done a test with something that is work. The clou: although operated with a solid, this smoke generator could even be refilled and reused, as the smashed solid will be pulverized and is easily removable.
Nevertheless, I make it so that it can be taken out of the locomotive so that the powder does not get into the gearbox when removing it.
I will now build a prototype of this micro smoke generator. How it works, remains my secret for the time being, will be revealed first after successful demonstration in the still to be built last steam locomotive! Only as much to the space: 8-10mm length x 4mm diameter. Smoking time at 2V about 3 minutes.
To what extent disturbing precipitation forms, the practice must show. But it will be much less than by the Seuthe smoke generators, because the solid does not evaporate completely, but burns and thereby smokes. By the way, much stronger than the thin, barely visible Seuthe smoke!

Which steam locomotive should I build at my last one, you may decide:

A) The Flying Scotsman
B) The Flying Scotsman
C) The Flying Scotsman

... I like the British steamer! (-:

No, I only ever build one locomotive. And only in green color. I hate doing things double!
But Alan will surely start the mass production someday.

I am looking forward to the results of your micro smoke generator. I think it would make your Flying Scotsman the ultimate TGauge steam locomotive!

Joe.

1 day of work (12 hours)!

The Flying Scotsman will be the first steam locomotive that also has brake shoes. I use them for electricity supply.
