OzRail's steam locomotives. Help Please!!!!

Post by Nutter »

I have ordered one of his Loco/Tender sets from shapeways and was wondering if anyone has any tips for assembling the bogies etc.
Wanted to be different and am getting the Ivatt.
Have ordered some spare plain axles from Alan because the wheel sets I cannabalised from some old 103's have the drive gear on.

DON'T knock it at least I am trying to do something, with only one good hand.

Hi Nutter,
I don't use them, I have had a good few break on me. It is easier to take a bogie from to adjustable chassis and cut in to singles, if needed, or use as a double. All I use is a 1mm drill bit in a pin drill to act as a guide for the screw.
