Handheld PWM controller question

Post by Towers »

Does the small handheld PWM contoller have to be powered by batteries or does it have a socket to run it from a transformer or USB like the larger controller?

Alan at TGauge.com will be the one to confirm definitely, but I don't think it does have a DC input.

Whether it does or not, if you use rechargeable batteries, you should get a whole day's running at a show out of a freshly charged set of batteries if you're running no more than two power units. More if you're using Duracells.

The handheld controllers are battery only from what I'm aware.
It said that in the T-gauge caterlogs in the past.
Check out my Shapeways store for T-gauge stuff.

I'll get one and probably bodge a power cable into it anyway. My stuff is all powered by a USB hub to make it easier, can't be bothered with batteries.

Thanks for the replies.
