The very wierd situation......

Post by dkightley »

I don't know about anyone else, but we've only been in "shutdown" for a week.....and I'm bouncing off the walls with frustration!!

It seems strange, but I'm fairly used to spending three, four, or even up to six days on the trot at home by I've done so for around five years now, particularly in winter when the weather is terrible and going out takes effort! But at the moment, even after a day or so, it feels like I've been locked in a cage, and cannot escape...and it doing my head in!!

There's crap on the TV, at least nothing I like that much...and Amazon Prime has an awful selection of films. I've run through Disney's 7-day free offer of access to their streaming service...and after the fiasco of having to upgrade the forum at super-short notice, and the clock change, my sleeping pattern is all cocked up! If I sat down to watch a film, I'd fall asleep after fifteen minutes.

All this is playing havoc with my creativity...and I've temporarily stopped working on Saltash as I'm finding it difficult to concentrate.

Is anyone else suffering like I am??? Or is it just my survival instinct has gone into overdrive and playing havoc with my imagination......

If it wasn't for the virus, we'd be okay despite the output restriction.

I have stocked up our food supplies and can now avoid any contact with the many covid-19 ignorants for the next 8 weeks. MY HOME IS MY CASTLE

Since March 16th I have been working exclusively in the home office and will not be back in the company until May.

I'm working on the tgauge layout and the completion of my BR01.

As i said, except for the covid-19 thoughts in my head everything is perfect!

Please stay healthy,
