Laser-cut 1mm acrylic components with code 40 rail bonded in place. The (2x) Closure rails are bonded onto the acrylic below and are flexing nicely together with only about 0.5mm movement amplifying to around 1mm movement toward the sharp end - some tightening up of the tolerances but think we may be on to something....in kit form ;)
