Maybe these videos might help with your inertial acceleration and braking request.
I knew someone has done it before, you'd just need to tweak to your requirements.

Ozrail wagons - Big Changes soon

Hey everyone, Well I finally got around to redoing my 3D wagons, and if the prototypes do well, my rolling stock list will receive a change. Future wagon models will hopefully no longer use official eishindo wheels, instead will finally use Tgauge.com's pin point wheels. New version will have simple...

Re: Rhaetian Railway (Rhatische Bahn) in T-gauge? help 4 new

After looking at your track work there is a small problem with your design. Eishindo has no made many switch/point/turnout types. Mainly the crossover junction on the bottom left of the photo, that track type doesn't exist. Also the first one after that with features a left hand turnout are also not...

Re: Rhaetian Railway (Rhatische Bahn) in T-gauge? help 4 new

I'm impressed with the design, though I'm not to sure about some of the track work, mainly the switch work for you automated running. Can we please see a track plan? My questions: - Is this layout viable in t-gauge and worth pursuing? The 4% gradients might be an issue if your planning for a single ...

Re: Steam outline experiment

Hi everyone, No exciting news to report sorry. Been distracted with work and other projects in different gauges. IMG_0457.JPG Anyway I thought of a cheap solution to the lack of driving wheels. And that is attach paper ones, I actually forgot I had these, they were originally from a A4 pacific paper...

Winston and South Maple Railway

50944_338077492962234_338077382962245_20479_332_b.jpg Probably has the most unusual name for a Layout. But I wanted to somehow incorporate " W orlds S mallest M odel Railway" into the title. The layout is about 3 years old roughtly by now, and is always changing slightly. At the moment I'm trying t...

Re: Steam outline experiment

The problem is the steam loco's side casings, because it's slants the top is more narrow than the base. I could have made the loco with straight sides (and it almost does already) but I do want to try and preserve some of the shape. Also if there was a way to shorten the motor unit by about 10mm, I ...

Re: Steam outline experiment

I suppose it could work, but it would look a little odd especially on curves due to the overhang.
I did try it with Thomas coaches Annie and Clarabel, but it never look right to me.

Re: Steam outline experiment

The prototype has arrived. And as expected, it's not going to please everyone. The issue is that to make it work, the loco is sadly a tad (if you can call it that) oversized, which makes it look out of place with the rest of the rollingstock. Still have no idea what I'm going to do for driving wheel...

Re: Sarum Bridge

Are there any known longevity issues with the wheel bearings, given the fragility of the 3D plastic? This one I'm still not sure of the answer, as I really haven't come to this issue yet. Yes I do run my wagons, but not like everyday, and mine have been around a few years now. (Around 3 years+ now)...

If I could, I'd give you a prize for correctly guessing GarrattHamster.
Yeah a Garratt would be nice, I like them to a lot.
Just not sure how to design one that would work.

I forgot to say CO-CO style motor unit before.

Re: Who's doing what???

I'm Ozrail, your Aussie based 3D artist. Despite being Australian, I focus more on jolly old english rolling stock. That and the market for Aus content is very small, even in my own country! You could say I'm a bit experimental with my works. My first model was the 42 class Warship, choosen because ...
