Re: Fitting wheels

I'll admit, my design for fitting the axles was not one of my best. :-(
And I'm still wrecking my head trying to think of fail safe solutions.

As they say, back to the drawing board.

Re: Fitting wheels

Hello there, Sorry, I think I need to check my Shapeways email system again, it's not informing me when one comes through. Hopefully the new wagon designs should be easy to fit with the Tgauge.co.uk designed wheels. http://www.tgauge.com/product/255/7/100-pin-point-wheelsets If they haven't, why has...

Re: Stuttering power bogie solved (but not fixed!)

It depends on which wagon you are referring to. The little 2 axle wagon require special wheels sold through T-gauge.com http://www.tgauge.com/product/253/7/2-pin-point-wheelsets For couplers (ask for grey or use the spare ones provided with any motorised chassis). http://www.tgauge.com/product/58/7/...

Re: Stuttering power bogie solved (but not fixed!)

If the rest of the unit is still ok, you can buy a replacement Bogey http://www.tgauge.com/product/274/7/black-2nd-generation-power-transmission-bogie. And a pack of spare spring is a must if you plan to do a replacement. http://www.tgauge.com/product/125/0/bogie-tension-springs Otherwise this is th...

Re: Maintenance info

Sadly I don't really have anything useful to add in terms of advice as others have suggested all the good tips.
That said, if we ever meet up again, I'd be more than happy to take a look at the HST in question.

Re: Wanted Garden Railway Set

The Garden Railway set, I believe was a limited edition set. So far I have not seen anyone besides me who purchased one. I'd suggest buying a new loco rather than use the original 103, unless you can make it run reliably. You can still obtain the Garden railway set's locomotive. http://www.tgauge.co...

The handheld controllers are battery only from what I'm aware.
It said that in the T-gauge caterlogs in the past.

Re: Ozrail wagons - Big Changes soon

It's has finally happened.

January 15/2015
All the wagons have been updated to accept Alan's Pin Point Wheels available on his website.

Locomotives on the other hand still require official Eishindo wheels though.
I still believe magnetic wheels are necessary for them.

Re: Sarum Bridge

That Level crossing is super impressive.
Don't worry about it being in place you would like, think of it as a layout easter egg.
Most layouts have something people ovelook, but a few do notice, even on mine.

Re: Ozrail wagons - Big Changes soon

Small update, the test batch have arrived and everything is looking good so far.
Alan's custom wheels fit perfectly, but I feel the axleboxes still need to be adjusted a bit to make them stronger.

Re: Ozrail wagons - Big Changes soon

Hey everyone, thought I better give an update. The Bogey wagons are now updated. Boxcars, Hoppers and Brick Trucks can now accept Adjustable chassis weights. So hopefully no more derailments due to being too light. And a boxcar/Closed van is now an option to have a motor placed inside. http://shpws....

Re: Ozrail wagons - Big Changes soon

Trust me if my original concept designed work, the change over would have been way easier. My plan was to make the bodies and undercarriage separate, this was so that if something was to happen to the axle box, couplers and such, you could simply buy a new undercarriage and not waste a perfectly pai...

Re: Ozrail wagons - Big Changes soon

Well it's still prototype stage at the moment for the new wheel axles, and knowing my luck (like when I first made them) it will probably take about 3 goes before I finally get the axle boxes right. I've only just got the funds needed to order test models. At the moment the 2 axle passenger coaches ...

Re: What happened to the new track?

Unfortunately news is far and few when it comes to T-gauge. I kind a hoped there be something from the toy fairs this year but nothing. 145R-30deg turnouts have been announced since 2012 and a prototype shown since 2008. There are photos of the prototypes in the official catalogues from 2012 onwards...
