again mostly uk stuff... I've just received my first wagon chassis using AlanRs wheels where the wheels don't drop out... next test will have slots for couplers... mk1 coaches are being modified to improve the fit on the adjustable chassis although if the wagon wheel tests keep working I'll try for ...

have you seen the new thin wall checker on shapeways? It's not 100% reliable but is quite good at pointing out areas that need a closer look.

I'll second the "you will get frustrated" point and also the stick with it as it's worth it. When you're starting off don't spend ages making a perfect model - in T a lot of the detail will be invisible and it really makes it frustrating when the model gets rejected. Start basic to get the hang of t...

Looking good Doug.

Are you making your own couplings?

How are you keeping the wheels in? I've gone for a groove which seems to work ok but I need another bit to hold the wheels in. I didn't want to do a hole that they'd click into as they are made of FUD.

Hi,

you could try http://www.templot.com/martweb/templot.htm - I think I've got it to draw a t-gauge turnout. Not the easiest program to use but it's what they use in the big rough scales.
