Re: What do you want to see in 2017 for T gauge??

Excellent news. And not before time :) Now looks like designing a layout that actually has pointwork will be worth doing. The diverging route does look to have been left a bit too long for a crossover between a double track main line - but hopefully it will be an easy mod to cut this down to be able...

Re: What do you want to see in 2017 for T gauge??

From me, first up would be to second your request for decent points that work at slow speeds, and of a geometry that can be used. I have an idea for creating a working point, but it is such an alternative idea I shall not even try and explain it unless I can get one working first! Secondly, if the p...

Re: My T gauge adventure

Following a successful print in my latest order to Shapeways I have just added these models into my shop - 6 WW2 Kubelwagens, 3 open and 3 closed; For T gauge forum - Kubelwagens.jpg The batch of models I printed also included some more of the latest rolling stock that I have designed (and that are ...

Re: Warley MRC Show 2016 - NEC, Birmingham

I also would love to be able to get there, especially with your offer of passes for the hall and the parking, and I would have been more than happy to help (it would not be the first time, in the past I have paid to get into an exhibition, and then still ended up operating a layout for a couple of h...

Re: My T gauge adventure

I had been planning on an update, even though I do not really have anything dramatic to report, just to put some traffic on the forum which seemed all quiet again for a week or so. However in the last few days the number of posts seems to have picked up again. That being said, what I have been up to...

Re: The next train arriving at Platform One is.....

Watching this one very closely to find out more! Printing of 3d printed items is currently possible from Shapeways, and I have used it for N scale road vehicles, but as you say it is nowhere near good enough yet for T scale due to a low resolution and overly large minimum detail size and wall thickn...

Re: Anybody in????

Rob,

Only just got to see this - have been without as laptop and have also been away - but hopefully you will have seen the US wagons in my shop now as I did add them before I went away. Both are available singly or as a pack of 3. As always, if you have a need of a different quantity then just ask.

Re: New products for the Talking T Gauge shop???

Looking good! With the all freight stock that is becoming available now it is getting easier and easier to plan a T gauge layout with long trains, but still dwarfed by the scenery. Although may still need to hide so extra power chassis under some wagon bodies - not sure what the haulage capacity of ...

Re: My T gauge adventure

The last one for now. Back to the US again, a 4 tub pickle car. This is a distinctive freight car from the steam era. This has been on my shop for a few hours, and has already sold one set of 3. Re: My T gauge adventure

The second of three promised models. This time a UK wagon from modern times, a nuclear flask wagon. Something a bit different, but these do get seen on a number of routes across the country. Also they tend to be in short trains (would not want too much of this stuff in one place at one time!), so ea...

Re: My T gauge adventure

As promised in another thread, here is the first of the designs for rolling stock that I am hopeful will all be completed this week. Our laptop is on its last legs and about to expire soon. The laptop I had borrowed, which I could have used as a backup, needs to be returned. Hence the push to get th...

Re: Anybody in????

I have not been getting anywhere with my own layout (whats new!), but I have passed my time being busy in Google Sketchup. I now have 3 items of rolling stock almost ready to go (2x US, 1x UK). I am planning to have these released before the end of the week. Watch this space!

Re: My T gauge adventure

The end of the week, so I thought I would add a preview of a vehicle that I am currently working on. Not for sale just yet, as can be seen it still needs some obvious details, i.e. wheel centres, spare wheel on bonnet etc. But when done should be useful if anyone is planning a military train (I have...

Re: Can you tell what it is, yet?

Looking good!

I had been planning to do one of these myself - but as so often ends up being the case I have not started yet. I do see a lack of wheels (I am sure you had already noticed that  ), but I think it is highly likely you can get these added before I even get to start mine.

Re: My T gauge adventure

And another photograph of my models.

These are a couple of Austin 7s which I painted for Doug. Shown are the convertible (with the printed screen) and the van, I have yet to paint a saloon but that will be in my next batch.

Re: My T gauge adventure

A quick 'whats on my workbench' photo. I am currently getting stuck in painting a batch of road vehicles and accessories. Show here after the first coat of paint, so still need windows, wheels and details painting in. Some of the other models I am also painting at the same time (not shown in this ph...

Re: My T gauge adventure

I have placed an order at tgauge.com for a pack of adjustable chassis. I guess I was tired of moving the single chassis I had between the bodies I have made or bought each time! The parcel may be here already. I had a card through the door whilst I was out to say there is an item to sign for at the ...
