Re: BORDERLINE

This had happened to me, What happens is the PVA became back to liquid state from solid state making the lake white. The cracking is from putting too much water at once. This is what happened to me during the first time. What you need to do is make sure that the surface of the area you are going to ...

Re: Ozrail wagons - Big Changes soon

I had gone through 6 SD70M prototype prints and I will continue to do more! Testing is the most crucial part. Trying to get it perfected before releasing it to the public. Right now they sit in my scrapyard of TGuage.

Re: What happened to the new track?

You got me interested, where did you find this information?

Was it from a video, email, or someone leaked a picture?

I'm interested in the switches.

A small update. Brass etching was successful. I ran into a problem... The brass sheet was not 100% brass in the middle making the etching take a long time and uneven etching. Still first brass etch attempted ever in my entire life. I will be buying thinner and 100% pure brass. http://i59.tinypic.com...

Re: Motor Replacement for T Gauge Inter City 125 Power Car

I was wondering...but what kind of motor is this? This looks extremely similar to one of my phone's motor when I changed the battery of it. I can't remember the phone since I got rid of it.

That circuit looks really impressive, can't wait to see your homemade PWM controller up and running.

Is that engine from shapeways or other locations? If it is from shapeways, does the paint peel or flake?

You're doing great! I mean I wished that we had more variety of people posting here.

Your layout is coming together nicely, what kind of printer did you use for the houses? Did you print them in photo-quality?

I agree, we need more exposure. The forum is getting little boring from little to no updates. This might be one of the most inactive forum I ever had been on. It appears that we have on average about 15ish members that post regularly...and about 75 members that are registered. I wish I could see wha...

Re: BORDERLINE

Nice! I hate it when wiring disconnects while you are working on it. I never had tried flex tracks, I was wondering what is your feedback on them? Are they flexible enough to create nice curves without the track coming out of the end of each section? Or you have to adjust each of them before gluing ...

Awesome! Did you have to clean the FUD model before applying the paint/decals? After cleaning your 3D printed model, does it become white or dull?

Re: Who's doing what???

I have the same dream as you Jesse! I wished that I could have my model injection moulded, but the cost is just too high. I'm still currently working on my SD70M train along with DTTX Double Stack Well Cars which should come nicely together. I am also working on a Santa Fe 2-10-2 Steam Locomotive, b...

Re: What would you buy if it was available??

I would buy; brass etched fences (for railings, fences, enclosures) American locomotives/diesels and rolling stocks Modern houses from UK/USA/Canada regions Tree kits ( similar to HO scale tree kits - you dip the tree stems into glue and powder leaves on them) Trolly (cheap & simple) I'm not sure if...

Re: Water

I had laid large amount of water into a lake, the result at the beginning looks really good when it's fresh. However...after several months...bubbles became to form, so I don't "quite" have good experience with them. I made the lake by applying thin layer of "liquid" every single time. When it dries...

Re: The Brass Deltic Kit - Anyone Tried it yet?

I was about to ask the same question, it looks very tempting and somewhat difficult due to the size of it. Do you know what? I think I'll order one on my next purchase. I have a suitable chassis and bogie for the deltic kit.

I was using Solidworks till it expired about 2 weeks ago, I'm using Autodesk Inventor right now. I used the assembly to see if there's plenty of space and...I think there is. I'm going to order these tomorrow with TTX Intermodal double stack well cars.

Is this better? The wormgear had been moved up 0.1mm.

Is the spacing between the middle gear and the wormgear better? Remember the wormgear have 0.05mm spacing between the bogie and itself.
