Re: Steam Wheels
I received my new steam wheels in the mail! They look great. However, I am not sure if attaching them to the 35.5mm chassis will work. I am planning on designing a Pacific locomotive for them. I have a few 3.2mm motors that may work for a thinner chassis, but fitting the gear reduction into it will ...

Re: Steam Wheels
I ordered some of the wheels to experiment with, they look great! I am thinking on a model like sjrashid's J3 Hudson the wheels might be able to be attached to the 35.5 motorized chassis. The hard part will be making all of the connecting rods! I wish that TGauge.com offered them for sale as well. J...

Re: New Locomotives
Hi sjrashid,
I ordered the J3 Hudson, and one of your crane cars on Shapeways. Unfortunately, they sent me a message that the crane car would not be printed?
Do you have any video of your Hudson running. Can't wait for mine!
Joe.

Re: Artillery Cannon
I like the artillery cannon. I would be interested in making a military theme train at some point! I purchased the Micro Train nose art series Zscale set. I was thinking of making my own in T, using my print to foam technique that I developed for my model airplane designs. I have yet to try it on a ...

Beautiful job on your new J3 Hudson. Keep up coming! I need to build one as it would look great on my micro Steamtown layout.

Re: New Locomotives
Hi sjrashid, Welcome to the forum. You did a great job on your Zephyr, and I am looking forward to seeing all of your new designs! I am interested in your 20th Century Limited and any new steam designs! I think that T Gauge will really grow in the US if we have some new American rolling stock and lo...

Thanks for the information on how to post the video. I tried reposting my video in my latest post on my Flying Scotsman. Does it take some time for the video to appear, or did I do something wrong?

Re: OzRailways Flying Scotsman
Ok, I ended up painting the wheels just to see how they look. I still plan on making a decal, but it may take me some time to get to it. However, I am liking the look of the painted wheels!

I like the idea of using magnetic couplers! I will have to try it. I also like your work on your barn! Great job.

Re: MICRO-STEAMTOWN 1:450 Scale Museum - Ultra Portable layo
Hi Doug, I purchased the Boss Laser LS1630. It has a nice 15.5 x 30.5 or 389 x 785mm cutting area. I am having a great time learning how to use it! It is not that hard, just a small learning curve. These are a few shots of the layout in the folded position. It folds up nice and thin! One question fo...

Re: OzRailways Flying Scotsman
Thanks guys for the nice comments. This is a video of the model running on my new layout I am working on. MICRO-STEAMTOWN. I just had to complete the Flying Scotsman before posting any pictures of it! The Flying Scotsman, like most TGauge trains seems to run smoother with two powered cars. Joe. http...

MICRO-STEAMTOWN 1:450 Scale Museum - Ultra Portable layout!
You might say that I travel a lot as I make my living as a regional airline pilot for US AIRWAYS EXPRESS / Piedmont Airlines flying a DH-8 up and down the USA east coast. A friend and co-worker who told me about this wonderful scale mentioned that it would be really great if you could make a portabl...
