Re: Crianlarich trials
This is really great that you share your techniques. Trees look realistic. I can add one technique I used for 1:220 and 1:700 trees - see here: http://www.talkingtgauge.net/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=32&p=7897#p7897 Especially look at the link to the video. As far as foliage material is concerned there is...

Re: Z scale narrow gauge trains
Hi Pawel, pls, explain how to do the windows. BR, Siegfried To make windows I use Humbrol ClearFix. This is clear gel liquid. Do not shake before application to prevent creation of little air bubbles. For application I use toothpick. You get some gel on toothpick and touch all inside edges of the w...

Do you have any experiance with new motorized points ? Are they unreliable ?martink wrote: It really all depends on decent points becoming available. I'm in the same boat, eagerly awaiting those new ones.

Doug,
This is really an interesting and challanging project. I looked at some photos of real bridge. I could add one idea and challange. Some sailing yachts cruising moving under bridges !

Re: Z scale narrow gauge trains
Hi. That looks really really good! I tried some narrow gauge in T as well, but the chassis chaked a lot due to the relative high center of gravity. Did you have this Problem as well? Hi. Thanks for positive response to those models. It is true that chassis center of gravity may be a problem. This i...

I also added passanger car with the luggage compartment. This one is motorized with 19 metre motorized chassis. Windows were added using Humbrol ClearFix. I got the train with steam engine workable. I was really positively surprised with realistic speed one can achive with T-gauge stock: https://www...

Next car is also a gondola. This time I extended the chassis and added some details (second live of some metal parts from Marklin Z 6 azis flat car). I added a load of some aggriculture products: https://postimg.org/image/hpcqlbd7j/ https://postimg.org/image/5m7exr25b/ https://postimg.org/image/ja58...

Re: Z scale narrow gauge trains
Next stage is to add wooden 4 axis gondola. I decided to upgrade the Shapeways design by adding brakeman's cab. This cab is adapted from Marklin Z-scale passanger car which needed some rebuilding to fit more to Polish context. The most important part of rebuilding was removal of brakemen's cab. Re-u...

Re: Z scale narrow gauge trains
Finally I destroyed weathering ... I decided this car should be typical goods car not a "passanger" baggage car. In Polish reality it means that I had to repaint this car. Final painting is brown.

I thing some weathering shoul be added to it in future.

Re: Making Trees
Most of my trees are bigger (1:220) but I was inspired by fellow modeller from Poland making his models (not working) in 1:700 (cars, railway models, buildings). You can find some of his job here: http://evadam.pl/en/ I belive his models can be some good benchmarks for T scale scenery. I also used t...
