Looking at these photos of your layout takes me back to when I was putting Robins Run together. There are several similarities between your layout and parts of Robins Run. Hi There, It's been a few weeks but have made a little progress. The temporary box has been lined with velvet panels and the model now has another girder bridge. Need to adjust final sizes of the model a few mm each side to make it fit. A BANDSAW trim :o on the edges should neaten things up. Hoping ...

That is a very tidy bench :shock: curious about the small module with the y point. Tidy bench indeed. Not my workspace so I have to keep a tidy ship. I take it you mean the small model at the window? That was a tester. Trying out the back painted acetate river technique. We're on a low budget here....

Coooooool! That landscape looks really stunning! Very impressive small layout. I you do not anyway have that plan, I would actually add some real stone ballast to the tracks to make them more connected to the surrounding landscape. Welcome to the forum. I hope you don't mind me having moved the thread out of forum admin and into the Layouts section.....it belongs there! :) And for future reference, resize your images to no wider than 1000px and no greater than 1200px deep and they'll show in the thread rather than being hidde...
