Re: Layout size
Thanks guys Have actually found a piece of 4ft by 2ft wide which i think will be perfect, so a little wider which will help. Looked at the Beachcomber trackplan on Tgauge.com as a starting point at least. Got both types of track, normal and flexi and not planning on points at the moment. Got the 4 c...

Layout size
Hi
Returning to T gauge but wanted to check if a layout size of 120 cm by 45 cm would work. Looked at anyrail and the curves seem to work, but just wanted to double check.
Thanks,

Re: T beside the sea
So with no replies but a good few views no one has pointed out any problems with plan. I have come across a similar plan but single line based on Golant in Cornwall where the railway line separates the harbour and river which could be fun to adjust my plan to incorporate. Only minor issue is I cant ...

T beside the sea
Hi all Just thought I would start a layout thread as well as post on Facebook. Plan is a double track at moment, might add points to run more trains but not sure at moment. Planning on using flexible track in scenic area and standard off scene, depending on how easy it is to curve flexible track. An...

Gradients in T gauge
Does anyone know an acceptable gradient in T, so X cm per y length?
Trying to figure out a starting point for a plan and trying to see if gradients will be ok. Not totally sure on board size, could be 4x2, 8x2 or even an l shape.

Getting back into T gauge
Have decided to get back into T gauge. I have an empty room but still deciding what sort of layout to do. Got flexi track and fixed stuff, which I will probably use where track is hidden. The new points seem interesting and although mainly after watching trains run, a point at the station would add ...

Re: Ribblehead T gauge layout
Hi all Well with Christmas over I can now do a little work on the layout. Thanks to Doug I now how all 3 viaducts, Ribblehead, Dent and Arten Gill. They just need cleaning and painting as I have now sorted the roadbed issue I had. Got the scenery to start carving up, so hope to post some pics in a f...

Re: The Bridge
The visit from Pete Waterman sounds great. From reading a forum or two it seems the layout was well received, only ever so slightly negative said although layout and scenery was great, operation was still a little simplistic. But a layout to me is what you want it to be.

Apologies, my sense of humour. Missed the smiley face at the end which would have made more sense.gbtrains wrote:No need to be angry about it as Doug has told me to set another thread going.

Will be interesting to see 2 different viewpoints of the same area.

Hi Graham
Hands off my thread!!!! I'm just waiting for some 3D prints before progressing to track laying but giving me time to think over scenery etc, which is the most important thing to me.

Re: Ribblehead T gauge layout
Well received my order from T Gauge.com with track and ballast. The 750mm track seems to bend ok. Also got some polystyrene so will start laying out scenic area roughly. Have got a Silhouette Cameo machine so hoping to use this to print out buildings etc, initial experiment looks promising.
