Re: Brainstorm on going digital

Hi all, To be honest, it's not about cost, but about the challenge- being able to control the layout from my computer. On my old H0 track I had custom software running on a windows PC and access to it from my tablet (remote desktop). Yes it had a custom UI to allow finger movement to select loco's, ...

Re: Brainstorm on going digital

And how about my initial idea to put the decoder on the track, thus creating block's (like analog block system)?

Brainstorm on going digital

Hi all, Coming from the scale HO having DCC decoders in the locomotives I was wondering if I could somehow go digital on t-gauge. As there's no space at all I was thinking following: - Breakdown the track in blocks - Create the digital bus (2 wires) which in H0 connects the controller to the track -...

Re: Question on steam & other stock

Hi,

Sounds good. Where do I get the official Eishindo wheels?

Guess I also need wheels for the main wheels (not sure how they are called in English). Not my native tongue :)

Joost

Re: Question on steam & other stock

Hi,

That looks amazing!

Found some shapeway models made by OzRailwaysTstuff. Anyone having experience with these shapeway models or others? Is it hard to use?
Especially the flying scotsman looks nice

Cheers,
Josot

Question on steam & other stock

Hi All, T-Gauge is intriguing me very much. However... my passion is mostly with (german) steam and some old diesels like the dutch DE-1 Had contact with Alan about steam and they are working on it, but it could take a while (of course) What are my options except waiting? :) Looking forward to sugge...

Re: New forum sections

Hi,
Maybe a introduction section is nice where you can introduce yourself to the forum?
Cheers,
