There are typically a few T gauge (T scale) things on Ebay--I have sold some used and new models there.

Welcome to the group! I'm sure Alan Ramsay at TGauge.com can provide some pointers. It's a very small community (no pun intended) so just keep an eye here and on the Facebook group(s).

It's quire overscale also from what I can see.. not highly accurate but it is RTR and "available now".

What kind of material are you using for the body? It's 3D printed-- Shapeways Smoothest Detail Plastic material. The current design is also somewhat refined from this early model, having (in addition to other details) correct pantograph mounts. As Joe mentioned, I've designed accurate pantographs t...

Re: Smoking QTT/T Gauge steam locomotive
Most certainly the price of a RTR steam locomotive model may be high .. my estimate is it may very well get up into the multiple hundreds of Euros.. if they are truly mass produced i.e. China, they shouldn't be $1000 though. $200 US would be somewhere about right I would guess. But then there's a la...

Re: The Bridges at Saltash
You might want to check that Silver Conductive Paint that Uwe is using for locomotives and turnouts (points) on the frogs to improve conductivity on points. I just ordered some (what I could find here in the USA anyway) and will be experimenting with it for locomotive wiring, lighting, track, etc. I...

Re: Intro KG Johansson - new to forum
Welcome to the group! You hit the nail on the head when you said "you have to come up with new approaches.." That (to me) is one of the most enjoyable things about T. There's a lot of engineering going on here, figuring out how to do things in such a small scale, and building models from scratch.

Don't forget Joe M. He has a K-4 Pacific. And Alan R' s prototype is bigger/better than before, he exhibited at a show last fall: https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=2161460877430197

Re: Smoking QTT/T Gauge steam locomotive
Ewe, does the silver conductive paint carry the full track current? It looks promising for fixing track gaps. Have you used on any other applications such as headlamps or signals? I'll have to get some and try it. In regard to the steam locomotive, I believe Alan has a prototype that keeps getting c...

Re: North American Rolling Stock Hopper Wagons
Hey Mike, since I'm a Chessie modeler and was interested in the ACF 2-bay as pictured--they were used for sand and cement and other dry bulk products--I'll make up one of them as well. Also, since it's not much different than the ACF 3-bay (just shorter) I'll probably make up that to boot--those wer...

Re: Drilling holes
Unless there are many holes...I would recommend a hand-held "pin vice". With a hole that small (1mm) the amount of force needed isn't very much. The battery operated slow speed drill (variable speed) would be another option. Get yourself 2 or more bits, good chance of breakage!
