Shapeways Rates
Just a heads up, Shapeways will be raising their rates on detailed plastic at the end of January. Right now new models will cost more but older ones are grandfathered in.

Re: North American Rolling Stock Hopper Wagons
So just a heads up. I modeled the cars and am in the process of posting them to shapeways. I contacted shapeways because the cost of them was 3 times what similar models cost and they told me that shapeways is raising the rates on models. Older models are grandfathered in but only until January 31st...

Re: North American Rolling Stock Hopper Wagons
That's something I could do, but I haven't been producing too many new models. I can post a link when it's done.

M-497 Black Beetle
Uploaded this to shapeways a few weeks ago if anyone is interested. It's a jet powered locomotive. I've also loaded up some new buildings. https://www.shapeways.com/product/XBGUVX4QV/m-497-black-beetle Also, the price of frosted detail plastic appears to have gone down due to changes in how shapeway...

Re: Zephyr
Have been tied up for a while and haven't had a chance to get back to making more locos. I will say though that this zephyr was the coolest one I have made to date. the reduced number of bogies in the zephyr made for a very smooth riding train.

Re: Union Pacific 4-8-8-4
I'm staying clear of the new wheels until I see how they work with the standard chassis. I haven't seen any info on how they connect to the chassis gears, how one gear from the chassis can drive the 4 steam wheels, or any assembly instructions. Also, I'm not sure how that would handle seeing as it's...

Union Pacific 4-8-8-4
Just started work on this yesterday. Still have some more detail to add and have to resolve the front end. I think the strategy for this one is going to be to hide one set of the motorized chassis wheels behind one of the 8s. Then use a separate bogie on the front that can be articulated. Otherwise ...

Steel Industry Train Cars
Hey yinz, If anyone is interested, I posted up a set of steel industry rail cars. I will be posting up some photos of the finished cars when I have a chance. Attached is a screenshot of the set. I also included a siteplan of the Carnegie Steel Works. I calculated that it should fit on a 2x4 sheet of...

Re: sjrashid's 20th Century Limited J3 Hudson Steam Locomoti
I actually have a set of passenger cars made up. The last car was giving me some trouble and wouldn't upload. I'll get it fixed up and get them online. Unfortunately the file size for those cars is too big to have them print in one file.

Re: sjrashid's 20th Century Limited J3 Hudson Steam Locomoti
Looks great. I hope you like it. Sorry I haven't been very responsive over the last month. I've been a bit tied up. I still have some other locomotives started and when I get a bit less busy I'll finish them up and get them on shapeways.
Hope you enjoy. I'm enjoying mine

Re: New Locomotives
Just an update. I'm posting the 20th century Limited today. Very happy with how it came out. The FP7 was a little short for the smallest motorized chassis. I will tweek the lenght slightly and reprint to make sure it works. The E5 looks great but I need to come up with a 3 axle bogie. Making non mot...

Artillery Cannon
Hey yinz, Thought I would share this. I printed this about a month ago, but have held off on posting it publicly until I come up with a 3 axle bogie for it. If there is anyone out there looking to do a military theme t gauge set, let me know if there are other rolling stock items you would like to s...

Re: New Locomotives
Dan, I agree about the FP7. It looked like others have already made a version, but I made it per a request from someone interested in a zephyr vista dome set I made. It insured that the train width matched the passenger cars I made. I wasn't planning on making a standard J3 Hudson. Is there a signif...

New Locomotives
Hey guys. Just sent these off to be printed. If all goes well, they will be on my site for anyone who wants one: FP7 with power unit E5 with power unit 20th Century Limited with coal dolly. (I also have a railcar set to go with this one, but I held off printing it for now. Cheers :) https://www.shap...

Zephyr
Greetings Yinz from Pittsburgh. I've just gotten into t gauge and discovered I can print some pretty nice quality prints on Shapeways. Attached are a couple photos of the Pioneer zephyr that I just finished. I have it available on Shapeways if anyone is interested. I had to make some modifications t...
