Re: Anybody in????

I still get the TGauge.com newsletter...and I'm keeping my eye out, but until there are more innovations I don't know if I'll pull the trigger. I'm not super handy. It took me forever to finish my N-Scale layout. I'm 95% happy with it and I think it looks good, but at sticking points I'd just stall ...

That's great stuff Ozrail. Man, it's making T Gauge more and more tempting/plausible.

Re: WILL IT LOOK RIGHT /

I think it will look awesome and that's almost exactly what I'm considering. I want a bridge span, and I would have a small little village, but basically all those rolling hills and trees...that's my thought as well.

Re: The Brass Deltic Kit - Anyone Tried it yet?

I've seen that Shapeways Deltic, but it doesn't say when size motorized chassis to you with it.

By the way, I think you did fine on your brass one. I'd be thrilled with that result.

The Brass Deltic Kit - Anyone Tried it yet?

I was wondering if anyone's tried putting that puppy together yet. It looks daunting to me, so I wanted to know from others how it went for them. My next layout (whether it's N, Z, or T) I really want to be a British scene. The problem is the complete lack of British rolling stock in Z, the lack of ...

Layout Base Material

I was wondering about the different materials people have used and what their experiences with them have been.

I see some are laying track and scenery down directly on particle board, while others bring foam or other materials into play.

What are your thoughts?

Re: Introductions

My name is Scott. I live in Abilene, Texas. I've been an N-Scaler for the last 15 or so years and have split-era theme on my layout. One half is 80's with Conrail and CSX and a representing my childhood growing up in a trailer park. The other half is a late 50's city scene with a Minor league baseba...

Amazing! I was planning my T-gauge layout to be a UK scene, but seeing the possibility of North American rolling stock has got me thinking...

Re: Block control test

My first post here at Talking TGauge:

I love the look of your layout. I'm very fascinated by this scale and I'm strongly considering a layout in it. I have an N-Scale layout 97% complete (are they ever totally finished?) and looking for something else.
