Cleaning can be easily done using IPA...either in a ultrasonic cleaner ( monitored carefully so the alcohol doesn't get hot!) or brush the wheelsets with a dental brush (not a tooth brush, but one of those small brushes for cleaning between two teeth!). Just to add :

- im a newbie, my loco was not running well
- i cleaned track , and wheel but nothing was really good

=> i followed the trick
- removing the wheel from the bogie
- put wheels in a alcohol and clean
- replace it

=> awesome ! as it was a new one !
