short wheelbase

Part of my layout uses fine track and I will only use the forthcoming Gronk 08 shunter on that bit. My question: is there any short wheelbase rolling stock available (less than 38mm long)?

Electrical connection

Has anyone an idea where you can get a mating socket for the dc plug provided by the USB cable (E-300) or mains adaptor (E-001)which connects to the points switch or the pwm power box. I think the connector is a 1.7mm (but I'm guessing as I can't measure it) by 4mm. Here is the one from the points c...

Switchback problem

I have a section of layout with two roads running parallel to notional buffers I put a switchback sensor on each and connected it up. I wanted the train to come to the end of the line and reverse out, going round a loop to arrive at the other road. Even with adjusting sensitivity I cannot make this ...

Shortening track

I have spent the last few days on railmodeller pro trying to fit the standard track into the layout I want, (a folded eight linking to a hidden point). At last I have a version where all the angles work but the track can't join by about 20mm. I seem to remember someone cutting a piece of 'set' track...

Re: Track Planning

I use railmodeller pro. It has the complete suite of T gauge tracks. There is a free lite version that you can try.

Cable control of points.

Hi

I have seen the posts on the Robins Run thread about control of manual points but I am sure I have seen a more detailed 'how to' on another post but I have spent several days lookig for it. Either I am mistaken or my search skills are seriously lacking please help

Re: New to T Gauge

More questions.

When curving Flexi track do people use templates?
I understand points have a dead area that causes stuttering so I intend to use hidden points only, is that a good plan?
Does acrylic paint stick oh to track and joiners.

Thanks in anticipatio.

New to T Gauge

Hi my name is Frank and I am actively considering a portable layout in T. I have found a rigid rifle case that would give me 118x38 cm for the layout. I have an extensive N gauge loft layout so not exactly a beginner. However before starting in T I think I need to decide between flexitrack or raised...
