Re: ORIENT EXPRESS Cars

Thanks for the compliment, Jesse!
The close coupling is, however only suitable for generous, equally realistic curve radii.
I will get even better motors, I will change them for those who are in it now, then fit the drives of the cars exactly to that in the Flying Scotsman and in the MALLARD.

Finished!
But the speed of the cars does not yet fit properly to the locomotive.

How you can turn the bad drive of 103 train to a very good o

At first: I like the drive of the 103 train from KK Eishindo. It is not a good drive but it is useable to make a very good drive with it. To make this to a good drive, you need a worm, two gears type A with 20 teeth (or 16 teeth, if you have points on your layout) and a gear type B with 26 teeth (or...

ORIENT EXPRESS Cars

Hello everyone, it starts again with T Gauge! I want to spend any cars to my MALLARD and my Flying Scotsman. It should be cars of the Orient Express. I use my last 103 train as base. But the drives I convert to which with worms. Between the wheels are gears with 20 teeth. The intermediate gear has 2...

It is also interesting how it came about at all. On YouTube, someone asked where to buy something like that. Then Siegfried and I joked by email, I should answer, sometimes it would be in surprise eggs. Siegfried then suggested letting the little locomotive drive out of the egg for a video. And I re...

And I am very sure that there are such people! Many a millionaire would certainly pay a four-digit or even five-figure amount for such a little sweetheart. The only problem is that these people do not even know that there is such a thing. (-:

Re: Smoking QTT/T Gauge steam locomotive

Hello Joe, sorry that I'm answering so late, I have not get any info mail about your post. The bodies of the 18 201, the S1 and the Flying Scotsman are made with 0.1mm copper sheet metal. The body of the Mallard I milled complete from a piece of ebony wood free hand with a PROXXON. The 18 201 is par...

Re: GG1

By the way, Alan works on new wheels, if you are waiting for something, you can build the GG1 prototypical and with better reduction. C + 1 should be suitable drive wheels.

Re: GG1

Such a metal plate can be produced in 10 minutes. You only need the scissors of a Swiss army knife and a center punch.

Re: GG1

Hey Joe, why so complicated, just make such metal plates as I do, for example, at the tender for the MALLARD, and then glue on them 3D printed blinds.

Much more important for a good drive is that behind a very large gear not a very small gear is placed.

Du bist schon ein elender Rechthaber, Siggi! (-:
Was bleibt denn noch übrig von der Krümmung, wenn das Zahnrad nur noch ein Drittel der Dicke hat? Ist doch vernachlässigbar!
Aber dokumentiere deine angeblich durchgeführten Tests doch bitte mal per Video!
