Permanently couple it to a match truck, like BR used to do with the '03' class, install some pick ups in the truck and hey presto 5 axles to collect current and longer than the dead zone.

OK. Probably a dumb question. But what is 1.450 scale? This I know O gauge is 7mm to a foot, OO is 4mm to a foot and N gauge is 2mm to a foot, but what exactly is 1.450? How is it worked out? I am trying to scale down a potential modeling scenario using dimensions gained from Google maps and I canno...
