Re: Educate me on decals

Hi Jesse, I did stumble across your blog while trying to research this. That is a lot of good work! Based on comments here and what I have found across the web, I have been acquiring items for this effort. Printable decal paper in 4 flavors, inkjet clear, inkjet white backing, laser clear and laser ...

Re: Educate me on decals

Perfect! This was exactly the information I was looking for. I have both a laser and inkjet so I will likely get both types of paper. Knowing that the printer decals are usable, I will dive in to some videos to see the process from end to end. I have been wanting to use North American models, with a...

Educate me on decals

I am taking the next step. I have some motorized chassis. I ordered some Shapeways shells. I have been looking at the great paint jobs done here. But I am clueless on decals. What are you using? Where do you get the supplies. Is there anywhere that covers using the material? Are printable decals via...

Re: truck fell off loco

My problem is that an order for a $3 spring set ends up costing me $400

Re: Waiting impatiently

I am beginning with the TGauge slowly, wanting to make sure I can use it before I invest more. If it works out well, I can see a bigger purchase of flex track for a longer layout. But my credit card is ready to melt from all the electronics I purchased. Enough to automate a Z scale layout I have bee...

Waiting impatiently

Like a child before Christmas, I am excited about my expected arrivals. I have a starter set ordered. A few extras. 2 sets of moving autos from teenytrains. Some electronics to play with automation. Will probably start this effort with my Z scale equipment. Oh mister postman bring my model trains so...

Re: Automation......

Question for the creator and users of this automation logic. When is a section free? I am trying to walk through the logic and my first thought was that with 3 trains, only one section would be free at a time, allowing only one train to move at a time. This is clearly not the case in the videos. Is ...
