Have come across a minor technical hitch.
The roadway and track need a bit more distance between each over - getting the occasional running glitch when a road vehicle and train are in close proximity, they want to meet each other. :!:

Something that was not an issue with large ( std set track pieces) as the roadway could be moved more towards the middle. May try a bit of screening on the roadway control box as I suspect this could also be part of the problem or re-routing some of the wires.
Fortunately this problem has been spotted before the road was fixed down and blended in with the scenery.

Problem solved - rerouted power feed cables and fitted a pair of small RF beads on the T gauge lead one near the controller and one at the track end
Not my suprise but has anyone converted the ruined tower into a stealth missile silo

Big NOTE to self, when planting woods that the track runs throu, leave enough of a gap so you can clean the track easily. Also vary the height of the trees, they are not the same height .

Just need to sort out the area behind the platform - looking for inspiration.
The area by the shops and houses on the last photo will be marked out as a car park.

Planting temporary suspended due to lack of decidious trees.
Time until the replacement stock arrives will be spent running my Baby Deltic round .
Local planning committee can not decide what to put in the space behind the platform. Suggestions so for have been a farm, a park, or a manor house (not seen suitable building for that yet).

Also need to start thinking about a name for the layout.

Slight deviation from thread but for peoples info apart from locos using a 16m chassis other rolling stock is proving problematic.
They should go round but the Hopper wagons that Alan sells seem to bind on the curves, need to sort out some 4 wheel stock but am worried they will be too light.

Looking good.

Ozrail's four wheelers should work OK with the tight curves, as long as the train is fairly short. They would also solve your coupler spring shortage, since it is best to leave the springs off of theirs.
