T Gauge on a Toilet Seat

Postby Phaal » Sat Nov 30, 2013 12:14 pm

I have been involved with T gauge since about 2008, importing some of the very first T Gauge models from Japan. Since then much has changed, however credit should go to Eishindo for trying to get as many accessories on to the market as soon as possible to at least try to lift T from being a mere curio.

A friend of mine started looking at T gauge at more or less the same time, and decided to build a small layout using only commercially available Eishindo products. The model was completed in 2009 and managed a few local shows; and is still in existence today.

As can be seen in the pictures, it uses a de-constructed toilet seat for a baseboard (purchased brand new of course!). The upper level shows a small town; whilst the lower level has a disused quarry, now filled with water and used for pleasure craft.

A very simple layout, but a lot of fun to help construct...
