Really beautiful layout. The test run is ... rather short :)

Was hoping to make a longer video but having problems upgrading to a new version of iMovie. That's why it's a short single clip. I shot plenty of clips but just haven't been able to cut them together.

Just made some trees for the box model. Looking forward to adding them in. Garden wire and copper strand and PVA seems to work fine. Foliage from Javis Countryside Scenics. Burnt Umber Acrylic for colour. Magnifying glass and tweezers essential.

Here's a longer version of a test run video which includes a earlier shot of the foam board skeleton and current progression of the model.

Cool! I definitively still enjoy watching trains in a circle after 35 years of railway addiction :) and especially on this little gem of a layout.

I\ve been working on trees and added some to the layout yesterday. What a difference it makes.

The first Box Model is now in a box, but no pictures quite yet. After a little fine tuning it will be complete and photographed this week I hope.
It will be housed in an Oak toolbox type case with steel corner protectors and lock catches. The model landscape is encased in 3mm Oak ply. The insert has lift-out handles. The model insert and power controller are removable. Inside there is space for two small boxes on the left side for rolling stock and small tools, batteries etc.It will be a fully working train set in a box. Totally portable. I'm hoping to make a few of these over the coming months. I'll be working on some other landscape ideas and hopefully the next one will include a concrete arched viaduct on one of the curves. I may need a bit of help with that one (Doug?). 3D printing is not my thing. Yet.

Sneak preview.
Here are some images of my complete T-gauge box model. Housed in an solid Oak toolbox type case. The theme is a ravine with an oval of track entering and exiting a tunnel over two girder bridges. It's a fully working prototype model. There are two small boxes within which can hold accessories and rolling stock. The landscape section is removable to reveal the extreme detail that T-gauge has to offer.

They're not from here! ;)

I think they're from TGauge.com: https://www.tgauge.com/section/5/va/buildings
