I just gotta say how helpful it is seeing all the really pro level modeling being posted on this forum>The way you guys just rip into stuff is amazing :)

I made some whimsical tanks, silos and towers to hide some of the anchor bolts for the (Parker Flats) scenic module..

The little tops come off so I can access the bolts in the bottoms of the cylinders

This Parker Flats module is the first one I'm trying lighting on so I thought I would also experiment with an anchoring system>If it works I'll be trying some ideas out for filling the gap between the scenic modules and the track...

I had to take the Parker Flats station apart and install a multi layer interior to get the lighting to look right>The photos just don't do it justice....

I used a piece of optical fiber glued to the LED bulb in the interior for the outside light....

Thanks Joe.....I'm a big fan of your articles in the AMA mag on "nano" RC aircraft...

oops I hit "Submit" instead of "Preview"
I've seen people switching to full RC control for larger scale locos (OO, HO even N)....Am I wrong to think that T gauge is just too small even with the tiny RC stuff you're using in your nano aircraft (?)

Horizontal again....
The anchor bolt experiment on the Parker Flats scenic module seems to work pretty well, but I'm holding off on anchoring any of the other modules until I can replace the switches with the "short gap" switches pictured on the Tgauge.com web site.....Hopefully in less that 2 years (!)

Starting to try and figure out how to model the turn-about on the Cazadero scenic module.....the historic record is kind of rough...

Although the old painting showed what looked like a wooden structure, in some photos I found it appeared to be made off iron ...
Not like the prototype, but I've left the rails sticking out over the boardwalk cause I may use it with a slightly longer loco in the future...
The table itself has an axle and bearing plate so it might be a candidate for animation in the future ..
I've got the forest to build and that's going to take a long time ...
