Slowly recovering from a busy weekend. The show was quite busy most of both days, although things did quieten down substantially around 3:00pm on Sunday, and I found it difficult to spot any visitors half an hour before the show closed!!
Everything ran reasonable smoothly on the layout...the automation was back in operation after a couple of shows without it!!...which allowed me more time to talk to the visitors. There were still a good proportion of people who hadn't heard of T gauge, but having said that, the numbers of those who said they'd seen the layout before was higher.
Alan had the TGauge.com stand right next to the layout, and with both of us being on our own, we didn't get too many opportunities to catch up on developments, etc. I did, however get the opportunity to see the CT Electroniks DCX65 decoder "in the flesh" as Alan still had the demo layout that came over from Japan last year. Boy...is that decoder small!!!
Overall a good and well attended show. I now just need to have a good rest so I can prepare for the next show.
