I've before that you have to design things for the print process being used.

I found out the hard way after being used to Shapeways way of designing... Then getting my own printer. Ivan can vouch for the differences.....as he's found out recently.

not sure what I've done to deserve thanks? I'm vaguely toying with the idea of doing a t-gauge apt but haven't yet.

I have found the dougways printing service much easier to work with... :)

my introduction to shapeways was to spend months learning how to model in 3d and then try to get them to print something and spending more months taking all the detail off...
