Help

Postby chadnn » Mon Feb 06, 2017 6:03 pm

Received my flex track and am deciding on a layout. I'm going to use double sided tape to hold it down and would like to know if I should tape the whole track or just every 6" or so. Its heavy duty tape so once down it would be very hard to take back up. Thanks for the help.

I would stick track down over its full length rather than every so often. You can find that the tape and its adhesive may not be compliant enough to give a 100% permanent stick and may either pop up or slide a little if you only have it held down say every six inches.

Apart from that, tape may give you some soundproofing and help to remove any wheel to track noise echoing through your baseboard.
