truck fell off loco

Postby chadnn » Mon Mar 13, 2017 12:15 am

Sorry if this isn't the right place to post this but I need help.

This morning when I picked up the loco the front truck came off and I don't see how to fix them back on. Any help? Thanks.

If it's what has happened to me a few times you need to spring into action. On each side of the power bogie is a small spring which holds the bogie in place. Spares are available at Tgauge.com. They can be devilishly difficult to fit but there is advice on the Tgauge.com website. Good luck!

Have a read of this thread: viewtopic.php?f=12&t=121&p=594&hilit=spring#p594

The content should help you with rebuilding your loco......but you'll probably need some springs first: https://www.tgauge.com/product/125/7/bogie-tension-springs

My problem is that an order for a $3 spring set ends up costing me $400
Oooo... Look, the 16 meter motorised chassis is back in stock. Better get 2.
Oooo... As long as I am here, more track.
Oooo... Look at those building.
Oooo...
