Street Lights How Tall?

Postby Nutter » Wed May 18, 2016 10:35 pm

I know I am asking a lot of questions at the moment but want others input before I spend the cash.
Because I live in an area without them how tall would the average urban streetlight be? looking at photos I am thinking 2and a half storeys high in relation to buildings so would 25mm seem reasonable for T gauge. :?:

Having Googled the subject, according to Hampshire County Council, the following are the norm:

Main roads - columns 10m high = 22.0mm
Secondary roads - columns 8m high = 17.8mm
Subsidiary roads - columns 6m high = 13.3mm
